Emika Peterson

Occupational Therapist

Emika completed her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta. She has gained experience in diverse clinical settings including chronic pain and return-to-work programs, spinal cord rehabilitation, supportive housing for older adults, and rural acute care and home health. Emika is passionate about supporting clients through a holistic lens and is committed to building strong therapeutic relationships that empower individuals to achieve their goals and re-engage in meaningful activities. She has pursued additional training in concussion rehabilitation, exposure therapy, chronic pain management, and ergonomics. Outside of clinical work, Emika is an active volunteer with the CNIB and has previously supported a crisis line, which further informs her compassionate and inclusive approach to care. In her spare time, Emika enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, and going to the gym.
